The cameras built in memory can store approximately 24 images and thousands more images can be stored using higher mega-byte compact flash cards (not included). Flash has a range of 50 feet, while the passive heat/motion sensor has a range of 60 feet. Operates on 4 "D" cell batteries, which can last up to 6 months. The camera imprints date and time on each digital image. Delays between 5 seconds and 1 hour can be selected, along with hours of operation, including day only, night only, and all day.
