SNYPER EXPANDABLE BROADHEAD:
A STUDY IN COMPARISONS Probably one of the fastest growing segments in the archery industry has been that of the Expandable or 'Mechanical' Broadhead. Bowhunters have a hard time agreeing on which particular model broadhead design is best, however most will agree that Expandable heads fly closer to field points than their fixed bladed cousin and they require less tuning to get that desired 'field point' accuracy. With today's high performance, high speed bows this is even more important. Expandables fly more like field points but are they as efficient as fixed blade designs? Well again, this is up for discussion. There has been plenty of skepticism surrounding the older style Expandables but new designs have emerged and we feel not all Expandables are created equal.
