Poorly aligned cams or wheels result in increased bearing wear, limb stress and poor arrow flight. Properly aligned cams or wheels tend to be much more forgiving.

The Spot~Hogg® Laser Alignment Tool is a precision machined 6061 aluminum anodized casing, which houses a laser. The unique grooved design allows the laser to project a parallel light beam from any flat surface it is placed on (i.e. the cam of your bow, riser, or a level).

Place the Laser Alignment Tool against the flat surface of the upper cam and project the beam to the opposite cam. Measure the offset where the light beam projects to see your tilt/cant (do the same for the bottom cam). Results vary, so you may have to try several different alignments (i.e. at rest, full or mid-draw) to achieve optimum forgiveness.
